Our Story
Generation Rights Protection Society was born from a simple but powerful realization: the decisions we make today will echo through generations yet to come. In 2018, a diverse group of youth activists, policy advocates, and concerned citizens gathered in Accra to address a growing crisis—young people were being left out of conversations that would shape their futures.
What started as informal community meetings quickly grew into a movement. We witnessed firsthand how climate change, economic inequality, and inadequate education systems were threatening the prospects of entire generations. We knew we had to act.
Our Mission
Today, GenerationRights stands as a leading voice for intergenerational justice in Ghana and beyond. We bridge the gap between youth activists and policymakers, between local communities and international forums, between today’s challenges and tomorrow’s solutions.
We believe that every generation has a right to clean air, quality education, economic opportunity, and a voice in the decisions that affect their lives. We work tirelessly to ensure these rights are not just promised—but protected and advanced.
