Climate change is the defining challenge of our generation. Rising temperatures, extreme weather events, and environmental degradation threaten our communities, our health, and our future.

Why This Matters:

• Global temperatures have risen 1.1°C since pre-industrial times
• Extreme weather events have increased by 400% since 1980
• Communities of color and low-income neighborhoods are disproportionately affected
• We have less than a decade to prevent catastrophic warming

What We’re Asking: We’re calling on Congress to pass the Clean Energy Future Act, which would:

• Achieve 100% clean energy by 2035
• Invest $500 billion in renewable energy infrastructure
• Create millions of good-paying green jobs
• Ensure a just transition for fossil fuel workers
• Center environmental justice in all climate policies
